Pages of My Mom

My Mom is not doing well, so I have been asked to prepare a book of pages for her funeral.
This is her and my father.

This is my mom with some of her grandchildren.
In this page I liked how the ribbon tied into the flowers.

I

I also am very fond of this page of Nina. She is modeling a fur coat for her aunt Judy, who at the time, worked at a fur shop. I am very happy how the page turned out. Please comment!

I stamped the background, and some of the paper used for this page. This was a fun page to put together.

I am so happy with how this page turned out! I was originally going to just leave it in the black and cream, with the dark teal color, but I got a wild hair to plop in some pink. The lace flower has a touch of pink in it too. The paper and lace is Webster's pages, the flower is Prima, the stamps are inkadinkado, and TPC Studio, the pink ribbon is Fancy Pants, and the glittery buttons are from Joann's. The stamping ink in the pinkish color is called Melon Mamba from
Stampin Up!

This is a photo from 2008 when the kids were in their cousins wedding, I started the page awhile ago, and just put the finishing touches on today. I assembled the flowers and sprayed them with a new item called "smooch spritz" . It gives the flowers a sparkley glow. Love it!

This is a recent picture of my daughter Paige, and her dog Simba, the paper is from "My Little Shoebox", the lace from Webster's and the flowers are Prima, and I put them together. The journal notecard I made and doodled on. I hope you like it, please comment!

This is a picture of Chase in our entry way standing by our "Joan of Arc" statue. I had to sneak a little animal print in there.

Pretty as a Princess

This is a photo of Paige when she was little, I made the squares match the fabric in her dress. I had trouble uploading this photo, so click on it and you will see it really clear.

Even though this is a very simple page, to me it says alot. I tend to have a lot of "rainy" days, and Chase would never fail to cheer me up. This is an older picture of Chase, but I love the way that this page turned out.

Here is a picture of Nina from a couple of years ago (she had braces at that time) but I liked the way that the page turned out. The word "cherish" is blinged, and you could not see it very well, so I outlined it with a pen.

This is a recent picture of my daughter Paige, the flowers on the page, I made them out of fabric. I will be selling the fabric flowers that I made online soon.
Check back soon to see close up photos of the flowers.

This is a page that I doodled myself ( with the exception of a couple of rub-ons). It was taken in Colorado on one of our camping trips.

This is a page that I made awhile ago, yet it seems to have a tropical vintage feel. It is a picture of 2 close friends of my daughter.

This is a picture of my son Chase and Arwen at his cousins wedding. I used fabric on this page (right under the picture) . My guess is that fabric use is going to be the new trend in scrapbooking. We'll see.............

This picture is of me, I found it with some old photos, and decided to make something out of it. I liked the colors in the photo, the papers are from basic grey, the flowers and leaves are Prima, lettering from Thickers and under the picture a border which I cut from Dovecraft
